Terms of Use

1. About the service

School Reviews is an information service where users can find schools and preschools in Sweden and share their own experiences. We also present data from public sources; that data may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.

The service is provided as is. We may change, limit or discontinue features at any time.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and submit a review. Former students are welcome to write about their school experience once they turn 18.

You may hold only one account, and the information you give when registering must be accurate.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You are responsible for everything you publish. You confirm that your content is based on your own direct experience, that you believe it to be accurate, and that you have reasonable grounds for the statements you make.

You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular: do not identify individuals, do not publish personal data, and do not accuse an identifiable person of crime, abuse or serious misconduct.

You keep the rights to your content. By publishing it you grant School Reviews a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, translate, adapt for formatting purposes and distribute the content as part of the service, including in excerpts and search results. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies kept for backups, legal obligations or documentation of moderation decisions.

4. Authentic reviews only

Reviews must be genuine. Fake, paid, incentivised or coordinated reviews are prohibited, as are reviews written by or on behalf of a school about itself or a competitor.

Automated collection, scraping or bulk copying of content from the service is not permitted without our written consent.

5. Moderation, removal and suspension

We may hide, remove or restrict content that breaks these terms, the Community Guidelines or applicable law, and we may ask you to revise a review before it is republished.

We may suspend or close accounts in the event of repeated or serious violations. Where appropriate, and where we have contact details, we will tell you why and how you can ask us to reconsider.

6. Reporting content

Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms — no account is needed. Use the Report button shown under every review, or email schoolreviewsinfo@gmail.com with a link to the content, an explanation of the problem and a way to contact you.

We assess reports individually and may temporarily hide content while a report is being reviewed.

7. No verification, no endorsement

Reviews are the opinions of the users who wrote them. We do not independently verify every statement, and publication does not mean we agree with or endorse it.

Information on the site, including statistics from public sources, is provided for general guidance only and should not be your only basis for a decision about a school or preschool.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, School Reviews is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of content or data on the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swedish law.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be indicated by the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are handled by Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise.
