About the course
Classical ballet is a training form for everyone, young or a little older. You train flexibility, strength, technique, posture, balance, coordination and musicality. You start at the barre with a series of exercises that warm you up and prepare you for the centre work — lyrical combinations, dance exercises and jumps. The class usually ends with steps on the diagonal. Classical ballet gives you the complement you need to develop your dancing and your body and spatial awareness. Clothing girls: any dance leotard and soft light ballet shoes, hair up. Clothing boys: white t-shirt and tights with soft white ballet shoes.
