How does School Reviews rank schools and preschools?
- Merit value, share of certified teachers and share of students graduating within three years come from Skolverket's open statistics. We only compare figures from the same, most recent school year.
- Grade points for upper secondary schools are an unweighted average across the school's programmes, because Skolverket reports them per programme.
- Parent ratings are based on reviews on School Reviews. A unit needs at least 3 reviews to be ranked, and its rating is adjusted towards the city average (equivalent to 5 extra reviews) so a single five-star review cannot beat many consistently positive ones. - Each list shows one thing at a time – we never merge different measures into a made-up “overall score”. Ties are sorted alphabetically. Closed units and open preschools are not included.
